RULES

Bracket Racing 

Street Class

Pro Class

Unlimited Class

Street Class requirements and allowed modifications.  

  • Vehicles must be a manufacture steet car (NO SUPERCARS)

  • Must have Stock or Street tires

  • Must have a PI of 700 or below

  • Must have original Motor (NO ENGINE SWAPS)

  • Must have original Drivetrain

  • Must have stock suspension 

  • Modifications to transmissions and original motor are allowed  

Pro Class requirements and allowed modifications.  

  • Vehicles must be a manufacture steet car (NO SUPERCARS)

  • Can have any tire type 

  • Must have a PI of 800 or below  

  • Modifications to transmissions, suspension, Chassie and motor are allowed  

Unlimited Class requirements and allowed modifications.  

  • Vehicles can be any vehicle 

  • Can have any tire type 

  • Must have a PI of 900 or below  

  • Modifications unlimited

The List and Event Racing

Index racing is pretty simple.  It is were you try to get as close as possible to the posted index time with out braking out and beating your opponent to the stripe.  There are no car class or restrictions.  This type of racing is all about consistancy.   This will be done on a timed 1/4 mile track        

The List 

The list is comprised of the fastest 9 sec cars in OMS.  List races will be conducted on Sunday afternoon of that week

 

Call outs

  • must be made between Sunday thur Wednesday

  • You can only callout the slot above you

  • If you win your list race you may callout the next slot.  But the driver can denie you if he or she wants to

  • All callouts must be confirmed by both racers to the race master via XBL messages or callout submisions

Races

  • Races will be conducted by a flagger via reverse lights or brake lights

  • Do not jump the light ( you lose)

  • Do not touch the center line ( you lose)

  • Do not hit the other car intentionaly ( you may get kicked)

Winner moves up and the loser goes down

 

Event Races

Event races will be done in a round robin format with one buy back round.  There will be Street, Pro and Unlimited classes with the same ristrictions.  So pick the one best for you.  Buy back round will consist of all the losers of the first round and the winners will be able to continue to round to of the competition.  Most of all lets have fun.

Bracket racing is divided into multiple classes and will be raced on a timed 1/4 track.  Each class has a spacific guidlines that must be followed.   Participating awards points from showing up to race all the way to winning.   The goal of bracket racing is not necessarly beating the other person to the finish line, its all about racing the clock.  The winner is the one who comes closest to there posted time with out braking out (running faster then your posted time).
